Dulley's Money-Saving Tip #1104

Maintain your kitchen drains

If you take care of your kitchen drain, it should never get clogged and continue to run freely. Regular use of commercial drain cleaners is effective, but they use harsh dangerous chemicals and they are expensive.

Try using a natural drain cleaner method. Pour one-half cup of baking soda into your drain. Follow this with a half-cup of white vinegar. The baking soda is basic and the vinegar is acidic so they react with a churning action. This will help to keep the drain clean and you will not have to worry about your children getting into dangerous chemicals.
