Hardy Perennial. A marginal or floating aquatic plant with glossy, dark green leaves which float on air stalks and spikes of pale lavender-blue flowers. Blooms appear in summer and can be lovely when grown in masses which isn't hard to do as this plant can become quite invasive in warm conditions. Will require annual thinning to maintain a neat appearance and healthy plants. Dividing may be done year-round.
