Hardy Perennial. Willowy leaves and a bushy growing habit give this plant an elegant appearance. The flowers appear in clusters of smoke blue atop long stems. Delicate looking, but very hardy and easy to grow, they are native to the eastern United States. Full sun or part shade is fine and a little shade is even recommended. Pruning should be done once a year to maintain good growth and form.
