Perennial. A large and attractive perennial grown for its glossy, rich green foliage and fragrant flower clusters. Grows quickly and will eventually reach a height of 10 feet or more. Once established this plant will tolerate some drought as long as it has good light and a moderately rich soil. Flower clusters appear intermittently during the year, but especially during the spring. Blooms are large clusters of waxy, white flowers which open to reveal a vivid orange interior. They are fragrant and long-lasting. Foliage is available in either a deep green or variegated form.
