Hardy Perennial. White Yarrow is drought tolerant as long as it has a good loamy soil. It will perform best in full sun but will tolerate some light shade. Some support may be needed as it is a heavy bloomer with long-lasting 3/4-inch, button flowers. This excellent border plant has fantastic flowers for cutting or drying. A. ptarmica is a vigorous spreader that will need dividing periodically. The cultivar called 'The Pearl' is pictured.
