Half-hardy Annual. Annual grown for its colorful foliage. Reddish-purple leaves which have a sheen to them are the big attraction here. Flowers are relatively insignificant, though will range in color from white to reddish-pink on a single plant. Light is necessary for germination of these seeds. These plants do not like to be transplanted so take special care when moving the little seedlings.
