Half-hardy Annual. A tall and graceful plant which is filled with flaring, very long, tubular white blooms that appear in masses on well-branched plants. With large lyre-shaped, velvety leaves, this species is outstanding in borders where there is room. These flowers are also fragrant and create a fine form and texture for the mixed border. Seeds will need light to germinate. All species in this genus are thought to contain narcotic poisons.
