Hardy Annual. Easy, fast-growing annual, perennial in zones 9 and 10. This a treasured plant for its long-bloomin, mossy looking mats or flowers. Sweet-smelling blooms are present from June until Fall - tolerates light frost without damage to leaves or flowers. It looks best in crowded masses, not a narrow line. Self-sows easily. Deadhead to promote further flowering. Needs light to germinate; propagate seeds under glass. Prefers to be kept moist but will tolerate drought and heat. Don't overfeed; more foliage than flowers will result. 'Carpet of Snow' is pictured.
