Hardy Annual. This is a good choice for the western gardener. A native wildflower to California, this hardy annual can be grown as far east as Texas with good results. Flowers have deep yellow centers that extend almost to the tips which are white or creamy pale yellow. Flowers appear from early spring to late spring. Likes a very well-drained soil and full sun and is drought-tolerant once established. This annual will perform best where summers are cool.
