Half-hardy Annual. This is an excellent plant for cutting and drying. Easy to grow in any soil, but grows best in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Besides purple, the clover-like flowerheads come in pink, white, lavender, orange or red. These round flowers will continue until fall. Tolerates drought, wind and heat. Good as an edging or border plant and is a noted favorite among florists for use in dried arrangements.
