These natives of southern Europe are easy to grow and quicklyform tall flower spikes. Cherished for their tall, beautiful spikes of feathery, petaled flowers, in shades of blue, salmon, rose, lilac, purple or white, set amid lacy bright-green foliage. Makes a good cut flower, the spikes are long lasting, graceful and effective in dried arrangements. The flower spikes may need staking and should be protected from strong winds. Larkspurs are not easy to transplant, sow the seeds where the plants are to remain.
