Dulley recently said in article "Small commercially made firestarters make it easy to get hardwood logs burning. NEVER BREAK THEM APART and always follow the manufacturer's instructions."
Is there a danger to breaking them up? If so, what is it? I have always broken them apart to go further. . . like 3 fire starters instead of one.
