I have a Lennox 9 year-old gas furnace. Every year at the beginning of winter season when the unit is first turned on, there is a "burnt dust" smell that always goes away after the first day or so of using the furnace. The furnace has been on many times and the smell is still present. The unit is checked twice a year by Lennox service techs who don't seem to know why this is occurring. Can someone help me correct this problem??? THANKS!!
