Dear Jim, I am replacing the light bulbs in my home with energy efficient ones when the old ones burn out. In my bathroom, above the sink there is a light fixture with 5 bulbs, this fixture also has a dimmer switch rather than a toggle switch. I recently replaced the final bulb in this fixture. I also replaced 2 can flood lights in my den with the energy efficient flood light bulbs. The lights in the den are also on dimmer switches. I also replaced the canned flood lights in the rec room in the basement which are also on dimmers. As soon as I did this, all switches started this annoying buzzing/squealing noise and sometimes the lights flicker. The noise is loud enough you are unable to hear the TV above it and the flickering is like a strobe light. Sometimes if you "fiddle" with the dimmer it will stop for a period of time but soon returns. Is there some reason that I should not be using these bulbs with dimmer switches? I am very frustrated and the bulbs are very expensive b
