The condensation is the result of humid air coming in contact with the cold material of the ducts. Ideally, the condensation should occur at the evaporator coils in the air handling unit. There should be a collector pan for the water to drip off the cooling coils, and then drain away to somewhere. The duct work should be designed and installed so that any water that condenses in the ducts drain back to the cooling coil. Look for a clogged drain at your cooling coil, then the way your ducts are angled.
