You didn't truely expect to get the straight skinny from the Eco freaks, did you? Have you also noted that those bulbs that are supposed to "replace" a certain size bulb put out about 20% less light as measured in Lumens, if you can find it written on the package. If you have an old photographer's light meter, you'll discover that they put out a lot less than that. Also, they do not work very well if it is kind of cold. I don't know where you live, but there is a report of many of these things that were sold by Canadian Tire Co that burned up--I mean FIRE burned up.
