Sound like you have some steam traps that do not work. That is condensate that has not been removed by the traps, and it is hitting the pipe where it turns. Steam just goes around the bend, water smacke the pipe. You may have a flooded boiler, but that is not really that common in a new unit, unless the installer didn't set the controls right.
